Drew Gottlieb is an attorney, counselor, and diligent advocate for the small business community.  He has advised a multitude of commercial clients ranging from sole-member start-up organizations to large corporations.  He advises clients on business formation, operations, and transactions. Drew is licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado and the Federal District Court of Colorado.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, the Small Business Section of the CBA, the Trusts and Estates Section of the CBA, and the Entertainment and Sports Section of the ABA.　Drew received his Juris Doctor from Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver.  While at the University of Denver, he also received the school’s Merit and Law Scholarships, as well as the Insurance Law Award. 　

Prior to his time at Darnell and Gottlieb, P.C., Drew was involved in a variety of roles in the legal community.  He worked in the Office of General Counsel for the United States Forest Service where he dealt with real property issues, environmental protection, and employment law. Following the Forest Service, Drew clerked at CH2M-Hill OMI in the Contracts Department, where he gained much of his corporate operations experience. He also volunteered as an attorney at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science where he dealt extensively with issues affecting non-profit organizations.

Drew is a native of Mobile, Alabama. He attended Auburn University where he earned a B.A. in English Literature and Language. During his undergraduate, he interned in Washington, D.C., in the Office of U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions. He also has extensive experience as a wilderness educator and backcountry guide.
